Mrs. Sehr taught a lesson in 301 about unkind words last week. Students were given a tube of toothpaste and were instructed to remove all of the toothpaste from the tube. Once certain that all of it was out, they were given the challenge of getting all the toothpaste back into the tube only using a spoon for a tool. Mrs. Sehr connected the activity to unkind words. She stated, "once words are spilled out, you can apologize but the memory of the words is never completely erased." Following this, the class read a book called, "Mr. Peabody's Apples" which expanded on the theme.
Thank you Mrs. Sehr and 301 for making sure we are using kind words with our classmates and others at Harvey Dunn!
