To kick off the school year, every Harvey Dunn student in grades K-5 will be creating their own mini self-portrait as part of a larger all-school mural. These self-portraits will look like them and tell us something about them. All grown-ups in the school have been invited to join in the fun as well! Every mini self-portrait will be cut out and added to the mural which will be located outside the multi-purpose room/lunchroom. When all the pieces are added, it will be quite the site! The students will love finding their friends, teachers and all the special people in their school community. Our title for this mega-masterpiece will be, "We love Harvey Dunn...a place where everybody knows your name!" While the mural is currently under construction, look for it to be proudly on display soon!
